Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

NXTGEN Industries Pty Ltd ("NXTGEN", "we", "our") collects personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request a demonstration, or use our products and services. This may include your name, email address, phone number, job title, organisation and any information you choose to include in written communications with us. We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, referring URLs and pages visited, solely to understand how our site is used and to improve your experience.

We do not collect sensitive personal information unless it is directly relevant to the services you have engaged us to provide. Where possible, we will give you the option to interact with us anonymously or using a pseudonym, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries, deliver and support our operational automation products, send you relevant service communications, and improve the functionality of our platform and website. We may also use your contact details to inform you about product updates, industry insights or upcoming events that we believe are relevant to your organisation — you can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

We will never use your information for any purpose that you would not reasonably expect, and we will not make your personal information part of an automated decision-making process without your explicit knowledge and consent.

3. Job Applicants

If you apply for a role or internship with us, we collect the details you give us in the application form or by email: your name, email address, phone number, the links you provide to your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile, and anything you write in your message. We use this information only to assess your application and to contact you about it. We do not download or store the documents behind your links on our website; we view them where you have shared them.

Applications are protected from spam by hCaptcha, a service run by Intuition Machines, Inc., which processes technical information about your visit to confirm you are a person. Application emails are handled in our Microsoft 365 environment.

If you progress to the next round, we will contact you within four weeks. Whether or not your application is successful, we may keep your details on file for up to two years and contact you about future roles we think may suit you. You can ask us at any time to remove your details, or to stop contacting you about future roles, by emailing careers@nxtgenindustries.com. After two years, or sooner if you ask, we delete your application.

4. Information Sharing

NXTGEN does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business or delivering services to you — these parties are contractually obliged to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose. We may also disclose your information where required by Australian law, court order or government authority.

If NXTGEN undergoes a business transition such as a merger or acquisition, your personal information may be part of the transferred assets. In such circumstances, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, regular security reviews and secure cloud infrastructure hosted within Australia where operationally practicable. While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any affected individuals, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and affected individuals in accordance with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections if that information is inaccurate or incomplete, and to raise concerns about the way we have handled your information. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable time and at no charge, unless the request is complex or we are required by law to charge a fee.

If you believe we have not adequately addressed your concerns, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the OAIC at www.oaic.gov.au.
